Coming or going or viewed from the side, there is no mistaking the Sweptside! "Forward Design" made it an instant classic and one of the most identifiable pickups in the Dodge automotive ® history.

Dramatic two-town side panels swept back to the rear bumper and fenders which were strikingly similar to a station wagon in the passenger car line. An optional V-8 engine provided plenty of pep to match the styling pizzazz.
